Dr. Jacobs is medical director of general and laparoscopic services at Jackson South Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the University of Miami, and is fluent in English and Spanish. He completed his residency in general surgery at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Jacobs’ specialties include advanced laparoscopic surgery, anti-reflux surgery/hiatal hernia surgery, (GERD) LINX procedure, bariatric revisional surgery, and gastric sleeve surgery.
